The XXII edition of the Master's degree program in "Human Rights and Conflict Management" closed its selections last Tuesday, September 12, and counts more than 160 applications in the two rounds of selection. The training course of excellence, directed by Emanuele Sommario, Associate Professor of International Law at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, is confirmed to be attractive and a great success.

The Master is designed to provide students from different cultures and backgrounds with a deep understanding of the linkages between human rights and conflict management theory and practice. The curriculum, strongly field oriented, prepares participants for working with NGOs, governments, aid agencies, the UN system and regional organisations, also operating in the context of complex emergencies and joint operations.

The course has received more than 160 applications from all parts of the world, from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, to Asia. A success that testifies the desire of a large number of students to specialize in the field of human rights and conflict management and shows a deep interest to live this study experience at the Sant’Anna School.
